7:00-7:45 Writing and reading
Students can come into the classroom and practice writing in their journals. They can also grab a book and read on a bean bag (which they love to do!)
7:45-8:00
Dancing to our fitness CD!
8:00-8:30 Breakfast
Students have conversations amongst themselves while listening to educational music.
8:45-9:00 Potty time (we go after Ms. Vicki’s class)
Children will line up on their number with the safe hands method and proceed to the potty and sit on their assigned color, students that wear underwear usually go first on the potty. Children that use pull ups are checked to see if they are dry or wet. If they are dry they stay with the same pull up and use the potty, if they are wet the pull up is changed and they use the potty!
9:00 to 9:15 Practice our ABC’s two times, count numbers in English and in Spanish, read a book to the students regarding the letter of the week or a book of their choice.
9:15-9:40 Activity (see below for date that applies)
Monday: Making a triangle fish
Tuesday: Healthy and unhealthy choices poster
Wednesday: practice writing the letter x, practice cutting, and find the hidden
Thursday: Number activity
Friday: making our own x-ray
9:40-9:55 Free play (Students choice of free play except the sand box--only two students at a time)
9:55-10:00 Clean up (students clean up after themselves)
10:00-10:05 Potty Time
(Children will line up on their number with the safe hands method and proceed to the potty and sit on their assigned shape, students that wear underwear usually go first on the potty.)
10:05-10:20 Morning snack (Ms. Mari is on break Tammie covers break until 10:30)
Students listen to music (teacher’s choice!)
10:20-10:30 Potty Time
(Children will line up on their number with the safe hands method and proceed to the potty and sit on their assigned shape, students that wear underwear usually go first on the potty.)
10:30-11:15 2nd Activity or Stations (Kitchen, sand table, store, blocks, etc..) or going outside if the weather permits
Monday: play with play dough
Tuesday: work on puzzles
Wednesday: Stations
Thursday: Music
Friday: Writing in Journals and cutting activity
11:15-11:45 Play Parachute game, stop and go, freeze dance, or workout CD or Video.
11:45 Potty Time
(Children will line up on their number with the safe hands method and proceed to the potty and sit on their assigned shape, students that wear underwear usually go first on the potty.)
12:00-12:30 Lunch Time (Cots are set up during lunch)
12:35 Wash hands and Potty time
Wash hands, students using underwear are asked to use the potty again before naptime!
12:45-2:40 Naptime
2:40-2:45 Put shoes on and put cots away
2:45-2:55 Potty Time
(Children will line up on their number with the safe hands method and proceed to the potty and sit on their assigned shape, students that wear underwear usually go first on the potty.)
3:00-3:20 Snack time with Ms. Carmen
Listening to educational music during snack time.
3:20-3:25 Wash hands and Potty time
Wash hands, students using underwear are asked to use the potty again before going outside.
3:30-4:15 Outside
4:15-4:20 Come back in and Wash Hands
4:20-4:40 Music and Movement Time
4:40-5:00 Table activity: (See Below)
Monday: Color red
Tuesday: Letter x Craft
Wednesday: Number 10-15 Craft
Thursday: Triangle Craft
Friday: Number 16-20 Craft
(Will incorporate number and color of the week throughout art projects)
5:00-5:10 Potty Time

5:10- 6:00 Story times, free play, clean up
FRIDAY IS RED SHIRT DAY!!!!
